Check if there is an entity/player on a given Position

Featured Replies

Position test = new Position(2768, 3112, 0);
if(test.isFree){
   log("Nothing is that tile ");
} else {
   log("Tile Taken")
}

Would that be possible?

Entity as in? Because entities in OSBot are players, npc's, objects, ground items etc.

I'm looking to check for players, but objects would be useful too

Regards

I hope it works.

		Position p = new Position(322, 322, 0);
		for(Player t : client.getLocalPlayers()) {
			if(t.getPosition().equals(p)) {
				log("A Player is on Tile p");
				break;
			}
		}

@Soldtodie

I'm currently using a similar solution, but the place I'm using it at is quite crowded, I have to loop trough all players just to see if a tile is free (and I need to check multiple tiles), causes quite a long delay resulting in the tile being taken once the whole loop has completed

It shouldn't take too long at all. Do you use the log method in the loop? the log method has a sleep in it.
