So, bought 100ppots, 5k bloods, deaths, and harrland tar for a long barrows trip.

 

After 12 hours (currently) my only drop has been a karils skirt (250k).\

 

The chaos runes make all the cash back, but it leads me to wonder how the drop system works.

 

Yesterday, i did 6 runs and got 3 400k+ items...which is pretty good for barrows.

currently on main 148 barrow chest dry and the item i got before i went dry were t hammers...but imo i think im a very unlucky person im currently 7 bandos trips dry well if u count a d med and all being 2 1/2-3 hrs long

Drop rates are by percentages, but are not limited.

 

Ex.

Helm's = 3%

Body Parts = 6%

Weapons = 9%

 

That is out of 100% BUT is not limited to 100%

 

There can be

Chaos Rune = 90%

Death Rune = 60%

Bolt Racks = 75%

 

 

Notice how that is WAY over 100%?

 

That's because it is random, and any of it can be dropped, the % only tells it how often to drop.

 

So lets say you open the chest, out of that 100% It decides to give you Chaos runes, cause chaos runes = 90% that means you had a 90% chance to recieve chaos runes, then to the next item.

 

Lets say you got the chaos runes but DIDNT get the death runes, that's because out of that 60% you didnt' get it, it was that unlucky 40% that made you loose it.

 

IF you want barrows peices, you have to get that 3-7% out of 100 EACH chest.

 

 

Side-note: Bandos is 7% on hilt drops, so you need 7/100 % on that drop to get 1, VERY HARD to do, but also VERY LUCKY.

I just thought it was silly as I had 2 30+ dry sessions, but i got double loot when i finally got an item.

 

Here, I'm doing way more trips as I did DT and using the blitz w/ salamander method and getting horrid luck.

It's so random.

I dont think you can predict the drops lol, its very random. A friend of mine got 2 guthan's spear in a week >.>
