Like Lockmonster said, it now looks a bit messy, since some colors point too much out when so sharpened and that for looks "messy". Yes, it needs a bit more depth and flow. Also by having softly blended render and so hardly pixelated background, they don´t go so well together. I liked the last one more, but I´m not saying this one is anything near bad.
