Vending Machine Trick

Featured Replies

So I stumbled upon a certain little trick that gives me 4X the amount of money i put into it (for instance put a $10 bill in, thinks it's worth $40). I can then buy anything and get all this change back. I want to know if this is legal, I live in Canada, and I'm kinda scared to be chased down by 30 cops and life in jail (that was a joke). I'm not quite sure what to search for on google, because I don't tamper with the machine at all, I just press some buttons fast.

It's ilegal, but I don't think you'll get caught for it.

My school has like 5 vending machines and people steal from them all the time, and I go to a Christian school xD!

Teach me your ways though?

lol it's illegal but you both want to do it?

I would definatly be doing this (done it 3 times at school, no more) but I don't wanna risk screwing anything up for me.

get fined 10k

Really? All I do is put a bill in and get more change, I don't understand how I could be blamed for getting extra change from a machine.

for pepsi machines you can actually change the price of things by entering a password via the pop selections. you can look up the default one online but i only found one machine it worked on in like 5 years of trying every machine

Interesting, sometimes I'll bang on it really hard and shit will drop and what not.

Its illegal for sure, but I don't know how you could get caught, and even if you did theres not much they would be able to prove. Similar to an atm scam that happened a while back, but for alot more money.

You should share this trick, because I need some extra cash. XD

You just change the default price of the item, not to complicated. From what I've seen it only works if whoever manages the machine didn't change the default password (if the machine even has one). If you have a method that bypass's any passwords though I'm interested ;)

And your not gonna get in trouble for posting it. I'm pretty sure the cops have a lot better things to do then track down a kid who posted how to make a few bucks off a vending machine when its common knowledge that its possible.
