Can Jagex detect...

Featured Replies

Can Jagex detect the client/browser/software you are using while playing RS? AKA bot clients and such?

Depends how you grab the hooks.

OSBot no, but if you're planning on making your own bot be weary

From what I've seen your safe. I used to think otherwise but now I'm starting to really believe the client is in fact undetectable.

I assumed OSBot was undetectable seeing it shows what is being injected/loaded. I was just curious about another bot. And I believe you are correct. Hmmm. Thank you for feed back.

Yes, and almost anyone can really. Though they can only ban you for using software, if that software actually injects game code (Such as OSBot). Though they also would need evidence that the software your using injects or not.

OSBot does have a really good injection method as is being as no one is really banned for using the client alone, usually due to un-smart botting. It is even mentioned that OSBot 2 with have a filter that stealth's their injection methods so Jagex will not be able to find them.

So short answer, yes. But there is no need to worry at the moment.

EDIT: Also after reading your response, YES some other clients are delectable(Not naming any)! A big reason why I switched to this client, and I'm so glad I did! :)

I was referring to another site (paid for). Which I am starting to become nervous with these replies..

If you could possibly answer this, Do you need to be online for them to detect what software you are using? Or can they just check via storage files on their end?

EDIT: Indeed as well for replying about that, thank you haha ;)

I'm starting to think it is. Got alot of bans on here so I stopped using this client :/ Waiting for osbot2 possibly

I don't think OSbot is detectable, just many of the scripts make Jagex detect we bot.

Maybe your IP and/or MAC address is flagged?

Because if the client was delectable is would be a problem for everyone, not just a few.

To also add, I've been going pretty good lately, and I'm sure I'm not the only one having success either. *Knock on Wood*

Is that IP/Mac address a myth?

Tbh I think jagex and make a 1+1 reasoning but I doubt they take action on clients... A lot of people are botting nowadays and it's utterly useless to take action on all of them since they'd end up making loss :)

Botting this whole week

not banned
