I think some moderation on explicit style signatures / avatars is needed. It's ridiculous what some of these people are getting away with. Honestly it makes me not want to browse the forums, I just don't want to see this shit. It makes the forums look bad, I'm sure it makes user less frequent in some cases exmaple my own. You don't even have to remove the images, atleast see if there is an option you can add so I can opt not to display user pictures.

 

Also there is this rule you guys have...

User advertise their services / scripts in their signatures, I shouldn't have to hide them because some users feel the need to post the images they do.

Again, context, not content. Personally I don't care, it doesn't bother me any. However, if it's gonna be against the rules then the rule needs to be enforced or removed.

None of the images I have seen so far on the forums, have not be pornographic. They may have been a tad revealing, but that is not against the rules.

There is an option to block a certain members signature, go to your profile settings > ignore preferences > add member to the list > click block signature.

Problem solved.
