Hey everybody, I've botted for a while back with RSbuddy when it existed and etc. I've always been kind of curious on how the scripts I use worked and I also have wanted to give back to the botting community for using the free scripts. Does anyone out there who knows how to script bots have any good reference sources on how to learn. Any books, websites, etc... would be very helpful. Hopefully I will be contributing to the OSbot community pretty soon.

If you don't know Java you need to learn that first, just look up tutorials on the web their all over

Recommend reading head first java. You can find the pdf for free online.

I suggest lynda.com's java essential training 

I ended up just buying the Head First Java (got it on ebay for 8 bucks). Is java what I will actually be writing the scripts with because Sizzbeats said "If you don't know Java you need to learn that first" which just stuck in my head as I needed to learn something more.
