Windows 8 and osbot ?

Featured Replies

Im about to upgraded to windows 8 and just wondering if I will be able to run osbot still ? I don't want to install yet if it won't work...

You should be able to, since OSBot runs on the JVM, so as long as you have Java installed, you'll be able to run it.

I have windows 8 personally but as a reccomendation download something called *classic shell* or else you won't be able to navigate around very well

I think it should work, but I have heard a lot of people say that they hate Windows 8, so just read some reviews before upgrading.

I do enjoy window eight as everything is alot faster but it mostly focuses on "apps" and a giant navigation screen of apps to get around what your needing to do and that is why I say to download classic shell as it makes the desktop have everything windows 7 would and all makes everything alot easier

I have windows 8 and it work for osbot, like they said make sure your have java installed

It should be fine
