Correct me if I'm wrong but 8gb isn't that much, could lead to a slow computer.

the 8570 isn't very fast.  Try and find a pc with at least a GTX 750 in it

Could you give me like example? what the difference would be?

You definitely do not need a GTX 750... lol. Also it depends on what type of gaming he wants to do. Personally the specs aren't that great. I wouldn't doubt being able to run COD at maybe medium, but any graphic intensive game either low or not at all. I'd opt for building your own PC if you're comfortable with that. You can easily get a 4th generation i5 with built in HD4000 GPU for all gaming. It would also be easily upgrade able. Anything with 4gb of RAM and up will be able to play games and also bot. You won't be able to bot while you play games though. If you seriously can't figure out how to build a PC, check out a local computer retailer ask them if you can order specific parts and see if they can build it for a fee. Good luck

HD4000.. maybe in 600x800 resolution

He probably has atleast a 720p monitor so if you want to play anything even on minimum graphics i'd recommend at least a gtx 640 or 650

HD4000 is actually a very respectable graphics card for being fully integrated. I do agree he should get something like a 650, or 660 but he could easily have fun playing with the HD4000 with a much better CPU. He can easily choose to upgrade the GPU at a later point.

if you want a good pc, raise you budget. any "gaming pc's" (which i find a stupid term in general) will have atleast 1 but ussually more crappy parts at that price range

8GB is more than enough for gaming, and most applications tongue.png

it's meh, and if you plan on upgrading a cheap pc: don't. save up another year and get a real computer, it will save money in the end and get you better performence, both in raw-performance and price/performance wise

hope I helped,
