Moving invisible npcs?

Featured Replies

I had "NPC Info" left on, and I teleported to karamja with glory. Then next to the fishing spots I saw a couple floating npc ids.

There was something like 4 or 5 of them, moving around. Has anyone of you seen these before? I guess they are invisible random event npcs which will mess up the bots

yeah they added this in EoC too, it's something to break bots, but it's easy to fix in a script so no worries

Now I saw another one in tzhaar caves when i was killing tzhaars, my bot was just standing next to it, luckily i was babysittin and i stopped the bot. Edit: After stopping the bot and moving away from it, the npc disappeared

mods can be invisible to

Yeah, but it had that purple dot next to the id (Just like all npcs) But of course it could have been a mod who had disguised into a invisible npc.

I don't see how this would effect bots at all, unless the invisible NPC has the same ID as one your trying to interact with. If the script is doing something totally unrelated to that NPC ID then this won't effect things :P

True. But I wonder why would jagex even do this, because this is so easy to workaround anyway
