honestly, I dont get you, it doesn't matter wheter it's the expected thing to do or not, if someone on the street is giving away 5kg cocain, it might be expected for someone to take it, but it's still against the damn rules, which is this shit metaphor is called "law"

Am I going to get banned for posting a picture of someone?

Yes its the rule. You cannot post pictures of others. Although it was incredibly stupid of to post pictures of herself. Especially since she is a mod. They were banned because they broke rule number 4. Can everyone please stop bitching about this? Not matter how much you bitch and complain, the rule will not be lifted.

Thats completely unrelated.

Ill break it down for you:

1) They signed up for the forums and AGREED TO THE FORUMS RULES (Yes, All of them, unconditionally)

2) They BROKE THE RULES BY POSTING HER PHOTO (Rule 4, as stated multiple times)

3) As a result of BREAKING THE RULES, THEY WERE BANNED.

End of story.

How is posting pictures of a person unrelated to this topic? I am pretty sure this is about posting pictures of Cortana? Isn't it?

You can also agree on being 18 on a porn site, but in reality, you are like what? 15.

And that is a violation of their TOS.

If Obama were a member/staff of OSBot and someone posted a picture of him, yes they would get banned. Simple as that. This argument pertains strictly to the OsBot website and rules. That is why people posting photos on other sites is irrelevant.

Why isn't OP not banned yet in that thread? He posted a picture of someone who was streaming and is a member of this community.

I am obviously not blind, no need for putting "you get banned for breaking rules' in some rainbow colours also, calm down with the language. If you are not mature enough to discuss this in a proper manner, get out.

Seems like you don't get the point, what does it matter if he/she is not a member of this community? Someone else could be posting that on a different website and won't get banned because they think it's stupid to ban someone who just streamed him/herself and not expecting to be a picture of him/herself to be posted.

yeah, sorry about that i'm just getting pissed about the fact you don't seem to understand. and yes, id they'd posted it on a different website, where it is not againt the rules to post pictures of someone, he wouldn't get banned

the people got banned on osbot, because it was was againt the osbot rules, they didn't get banned from the internet, just the forum they broke the rules on.

You seem not get the point, if Anne (Assuming that's her name, correct me if I am wrong) didn't make a big deal out of it, nothing of this

would happened neither would this thread be here. But she seems butthurt because someone posted a picture of herself on the forums, which I am asking the following, why would you get butthurt if YOU are asking to be pictures post of yourself? It's common sense on the internet and everywhere.

That's why I asked her to post on this thread not some peasants that are mad about discussing a little topic.

And there we go again..

For the last time, she took action because of the rule, not because it was about her..

If you think that it's too harsh, or the rule itself is nonsense then complain about that, don't blame Cortana, she just did her job, blame the rule.

@Raflesia has already given his statement on this.

It is a rule that I've seen on many forums before, and I don't see any problems with it.

If you don't have consent to post someone's picture, don't do it.

It would be perfectly normal if someone got a picture of herself and posted it on the forums without Cortana showing herself on stream or whatever where and the person got banned.

But, she asked for that for pictures to be posted on here or anywhere else, why?
