When 3.0 comes out will current scripts carry over? I was wondering since 3.0 is based on the new c++ client. It's entirely possible for the current scripts to work, though im unsure what the developers have stated. As I haven't really found much on 3.0 so far besides them showing off a sneak peak. Just wondering if I should invest my own time continuing to work on my private scripts or not.

It's top secret apparently, Scripter rank only, but theres no explanation of how to get Scripter rank...

It isn't hard, just takes asking, or looking around the sdn section.

 

 

 

Probably not. Major version + C++ core means stuff will break. Wait for dev confirmation before sinking time. If you keep working, make your code modular so it’s easier to update later.
