xxxtrigger50xxx Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 When 3.0 comes out will current scripts carry over? I was wondering since 3.0 is based on the new c++ client. It's entirely possible for the current scripts to work, though im unsure what the developers have stated. As I haven't really found much on 3.0 so far besides them showing off a sneak peak. Just wondering if I should invest my own time continuing to work on my private scripts or not.
Fanny Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 It's top secret apparently, Scripter rank only, but theres no explanation of how to get Scripter rank... 11 hours ago, xxxtrigger50xxx said: Just wondering if I should invest my own time continuing to work on my private scripts or not. BloodyNoah Posted July 8, 2025 Posted July 8, 2025 Probably not. Major version + C++ core means stuff will break. Wait for dev confirmation before sinking time. If you keep working, make your code modular so it’s easier to update later.
