xxxtrigger50xxx Posted July 2 Posted July 2 When 3.0 comes out will current scripts carry over? I was wondering since 3.0 is based on the new c++ client. It's entirely possible for the current scripts to work, though im unsure what the developers have stated. As I haven't really found much on 3.0 so far besides them showing off a sneak peak. Just wondering if I should invest my own time continuing to work on my private scripts or not.
Fanny Posted July 3 Posted July 3 It's top secret apparently, Scripter rank only, but theres no explanation of how to get Scripter rank... 11 hours ago, xxxtrigger50xxx said: Just wondering if I should invest my own time continuing to work on my private scripts or not. BloodyNoah Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Probably not. Major version + C++ core means stuff will break. Wait for dev confirmation before sinking time. If you keep working, make your code modular so it’s easier to update later.
