I believe I read where Jagex will not be forcing Runelite to shutdown or switch to C++, if that's the case, why is OSBOT switching to C++ when they could just mirror off of Runelite and stick with Java? Just curious, not really knowledgeable. 

I believe it's all speculation at this point, none of us here work at jagex afaik and don't know what they're up too...
If they switch to c++ I'm confident in the language and can tailor bots to suit the new client.
IF they let runelite to continue using the java client well then hey we don't need to change anything :)

a switch to the c++ client is in the works.
