Not sure where you're getting the idea that if you somehow got an equation of 7=0 you could just divide both sides by 7...

 

And you'd have to solve for x, not put a random number in...

Many things are broken, including math....

Maybe you should take some more math classes.

No, because the equation doesn't work. If x = 1 then it both sides are not equal therefor the equal sign actually should be an inequality sign, it's not an equation and 7 =! 0
