TO ALL GOLDFARMERS...

How does this affect me if I play Old School RuneScape?

Bonds will not be introduced into OSRS, so if you purchase a Bond the in-game item will only be held by your main game avatar. Because membership credit is shared across both games, if you redeem a Bond for Membership in the main game then you’ll also get the benefit of it for Old School access too.

I don't understand why he said it acts as a gold sink, this is the exact same as people selling memberships on here, except now you can do the trade in game...

At school can someone explain what the vid is?

Basically Jagex has introduced RWT to their own game, you can buy Bonds from them, for real money, which are tradeable in game. They can be traded to other players for in game items and such, and can be redeemed for 14 days membership, 8 spins or 160 RuneCoins. Doesn't affect 07

to my understanding... you can buy things called bonds, they can be used for spins, paying for in game items, and essentially allows you to buy "gold" or a form of in game money.  they want to take away the business gold farmers get selling gold, so rs is selling bonds.

Helps us goldfarmers as we can pay 07gp for members = 100% PROFIT

Goldfarmers - 999999

Runescape - 0

All I really see is a new opportunity to buy membership without including a 3rd party member offsite. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the long run doesn't this help goldfarmers?

Only eoc shouldn't affect us

Hm is a bond though.

Yeah, I don't understand how this is going to stop goldfarmers either....

It's just a way for them to introduce a new system while acknowledging that they are well aware of goldfarming and pretending like this is a step to stopping them.
