Junior Java programmer course enough?

Hello all,

 

Soon I will be in the position to get myself a course for "Junior Java programmer".

 

Now I was wondering, will this be enough to start making my own scrips / private scripts? Or do I need more than that to fully get in scripting? I mean like the high-end scripts.

More than enough -- the API eliminates much of the need to know extensive java.
