How about some post count ranks so that members post more frequently to earn their goal.

That may encourage players to spam more for their rank.

Which is probably why it isn't implemented.

Encouraging people to post activity is good but there is a fine line between good activity and people just straight up spamming i think this will encourge too much low quality posting just for PC.

That doesn't mean we need to encourage pointless spam/low quality 1 word posts like "lol", yes this is a forum and forums are for (HQ/helpfull/informative)discusion to combat LQ posting we could go ahead and put in a mininum charcter limit to post i.e 20 charcters just for example with mods who will police abusers. however by itself this post count rank system will just encourage people to spam LQ posts.

Not only does it add life to the forums, it attracts many more user(s) to post. Whether it be spam or not. 

 

Keep in mind moderators, spam is against the rule, and can be bannable. You'll just have to put more effort.

I think this could be a good idea, because I noticed the forums are pretty much dead. However, we would need some mods to start sweeping the forums for spam posts and start infracting people to make them follow the rules.

I would love for you to go through all my posts and show me ONE post where it was considered spam.

 

I don't spam, and I know plenty of others who want this that don't either.

And like I said, we'll have to just start reporting and infracting for spam. Duh.

To be honest, just look at the post count, that's enough. But would be a fun rank, but just calls for spam. I'm neutral on this one.
