Using a server for botting

Featured Replies

I am thinking about buying a server. Is it just like a more powerful desktop? All i need is the server and monitor? Also i heard people using VMs got banned while using a proxy. So they detect hardware. Would this be a flag for botting? Heres a picture of a server i might buy would it work and how many bots would it run?

Well you dont need a monitor. You can just create remote connection with the server and use your main pc to connect to it :)

Yeah im running it at home. I think I'll just get a Dell Precision T3600. There was one with a 6 core/12 thread xeon cpu so i should atleast be able to run 10 bots and it was only $260. Going to have to buy a monitor to idk if should wait for black friday.

I use free 32 GB RAM Quadcore VPS

Its free on oracle cloud, you just have to register, configure it and create a vnc server on it. Lmk if u need help

You're just as well off using a home desktop and running a bunch of bots on that, too. I haven't heard much on VMs and generating MAC addresses. Also, I think you could probably get away with ~25-30 bots on that if you VM them properly.
