hi im currently making a dds staker the stats are currently

 

50 attack

61 strength

53 hp

34 prayer (was a gmaul pker till will this ruin my staker?)

 

What i would like to know is what should my stats look like before i start staking.

Do people even stake with those stats? I thought it was quite often empty there.

-60 Attack (no duh)

 

-61 Strength (Stay at this level for now, minimum level to hit 13-13 with dds specs, can go up to 66 Strength in the future)

 

-58-62 Hp (This is what gives you an advantage over other players, the higher hp = better)

*Keep in mind that if you level your Hp too high you won't be able to find stakes

 

Prayer is N/A (everyone looks up their opponent so this has no affect, don't worry about it).  Keep in mind that the max hits for dds specs are 61/66/73/79 Strength.

 

I'd suggest leveling hp through range w/ iron knives, a good spot would be on waterbirth island rock crabs (afk-able).

Prayer doesnt matter when staking, unless the offchance you get someone with your same stats and doesnt look you up and doesnt stake you because you're higher cb (average idiot)

Get 60 att(make sure to do attack xp quests like grand tree etc for d scim) and 71 strength. At 71 you have a +1 more maxhit than 70. Try that for a while and if you dont like it, keep leveling str or attack and become a whipper or high str dds pure staker.

Never switch to defensive style either, that's a myth and if it ever works for you it's purely luck. Attacking with a defensive style only trains defense while using stab or slash attack style (forgot which one). THAT is what matters. Check the bonuses on your staking weapons and use that style. For dds it is the attack-training mode that gives better results, but if you want to be strictly 60 attack and strength will still be fine.

Whaa? Prayer doesnt make any difference lol... and majority of stakers at this level are too lazy to train/bot high range for good hp, so youll find a lot of people with similar hp as you if you just stay 1 range...

No, Prayer ruins u cuz it gains combat levels. like atleast 3. i got a ddser thats level 55 with 60 att, almost 70 str.

Are you high? 34 prayer would be like 4 or 5 combat levels. With that you could get 7-10 strength levels. There is a reason that stakers tend to have low prayer. Next time please refrain from posting unintelligently.

His whole point has been that people look up your stats. They fight people with similar levels, unless they're rather dense.

34 wont ruin ur staker, as u can stake other people with pray also.
