Hi im pretty new to botting. Any tips on not getting banned would be highly appreciated.

A quick guide could be summarized in few steps:

-Try to use private & fresh proxy

- Don't bot more than two accounts per proxy

-Try to avoid vpn usage

-Don't bot too many hours per day and don't make it in a row

 

It's some basic tips i have been reading since i joined and maybe could be useful to you

I have seen others say not to use a VPN as well. I am curious as to why you say to avoid it?

Whatever i say, is just what i have read from others because i don't have experience botting.
But to your question, i had read that VPN share the same IP to several users, which also could be performing botting activities. This fact increase your ban risk

Also i think as these ips are shared by lot of people, could be already flagged. And jagex could be careful about the activity performed in these ips

Thanks for the advise. Any chance anybody knows why mirror mode wont work for me? i bought vip yesterday.

Make sure you're opening the official rs client when you use mirror mode.

avoid vpn for sure
