Trouble loading client

Featured Replies

So I can run the client and scripts just fine on my PC, but recently, the client has been messing up on my laptop. I have downloaded the newest version of java, and I have also downloaded and redownloaded the newest version of the client.

When I try and log in my OsBot account to start a #1 bot, it freezes my laptop and I either have to wait for it to unfreeze or force shut down. Happens every time.

Does anyone know why this happens only on my laptop, and how I might be able to fix it? It used to work just fine until recently, and nothing has changed since it started doing this.

Hmm it seems to be loading fine, and I'm sure your specs are steady enough to handle them. Are you running anything else at the same time that might cause the RAM or CPU just to overload?

Nope. Doesn't matter if I have any internet windows open or not, does the same thing.

Also, if it just sits there as the picture shows, it does not freeze. It only freezes if I try and do anything that has to do with the client that isn't closing it.

1.65Ghz is not too good of a processor, you may just have to wait it out when loading the client.

I used to have a similar issue on RS and private servers that would cause me to freeze during teleports (loading a new area).

Okay.. waiting will do nothing..

Like I said, if it just sits there, it's fine and does not freeze. But if I do ANYTHING, including logging in to start loading the bot so I can log in the game, it will freeze. Eventually it will unfreeze, but I can't get any further in the process because it contines to freeze. And again, like I have already said, my laptop used to run this just fine.

So this was the only "help" you guys could give...?

i was having the same issue. i just closed the client on a wim and loaded it up but instead of logging in before selecting a world I just click the + icon. it logged me and loaded the game

Not sure what the point of saying this was. because if you took a second to look at the picture, you can clearly see that the + icon is not able to be clicked... and the fact that if I click ANYTHING on the client, it freezez, as I have already stated...

and if you run runescape in a normal internet browser or runescape client its fine? and what is the world population you are logging in to.

have you tried re-downloading java?

Seriously? Is this seriously the only fucking thing you guys can say? "update/redownload java" Holy fucking shit. It's not JAVA! JAVA is not the fucking problem! Do the people that run this site not even know anything about their own god damn bot? And before you even start, I'm not bitching about using a free bot that I did not pay for, I'm bitching about the fact that everyone on this site doesn't know how to read and none of them know what the fuck they are doing when they are "trying to help".

Yeah, i can't expect a single bit of help from retards as yourselves that keep posting in my thread, and are clearly not even fucking reading everything. Because if you were, you would not be asking stupid questions like "if you can log into the normal game, what is the population like? LOOK AT THE FUCKING PICTURE. I CAN CLEARLY NOT LOG IN THE FUCKING BOT AT ALL. World population has nothing to do with it. -__-

Great site. No one even knows how to fix their own client.

Restart your computer, run as administrator, reinstall the client somewhere else?

or it could be as simple as just wait until it loads xD

You, along with everybody else, are too retarded to read anything in this thread, or else you would not of said what you just did.

I'm done repeating myself cause no one is even going to read what I say, so they are just going to keep being retarded fuck heads and repeating what everyone else has been saying, which does not help in the slightest.

There is a new version out now, download that one and tell me if you occur the same error again.

Download the latest client from http://osbot.org/'>here.
