Mirror mode dropping items slow

Featured Replies

When I use mirror mode it takes the bot like 5-10 sec to drop each item and that reduces the xp rates a lot when it has to drop a full inv of fish. When I use stealth injection it drops fast and normal. I have tested with 3 different fishing scripts, same bug with every single one of them.

I am using MacOS Mojave latest update, bot client hooked to official osrs client. 50ms reaction time and 64x64

yes I know mirror mode can be a bit slower, but this is problem only applies to dropping items and nothing else.

Some API calls are very expensive on mirror mode and run like 100x slower, this could be fixed on the script end

Some users had this same issue with my thieving script, the only fix that worked was simply to write my own dropper and not rely on the OSBot drop method.

talked to @Czar about it and does not have this problem with the same script.

He may not be aware of what this is about, I've had to deal with this when optimizing Stealth Quester to run faster on mirror mode, and it's pretty much the same as stealth injection now

Is it while on the login screen or you started the script when already logged in?

hooked the mirror mode while at login screen. logged in, then started the script, then the fps just drops and stays around 4-5 fps. never happend to me before.

That's quite weird, I guess you should ask the scripter to check how the script is running on mirror mode, it may be throwing some errors in the background on the paint thread

The thing is, it's super fast on my end, it only occurs to the user which I can't pinpoint what it is. Any other input is greatly appreciated, as I would like every user to be 100% satisfied ^^ :D

Here is how it works for me: (I optimized it even for 1000ms which is super rare these days with other scripts)

I am curious as to why the user is getting this, perhaps it is a java problem? Are you using java JRE version 10+?

(The mirror client green/red text is super blurry which isn't normal)

Ok so my java is now updated but there is no change. I agree the blurry red/green text is strange. If you guys can think of anything I can try. I really appreciate the help as I just recently upgraded to VIP
