i just signed up for OSBot however i was not sent an email to confirm the account creation

Wouldn't post your email publicly.

 

On the other hand, make sure to check your junk mail, and see if you can resend the email in case something got messed up on their end. Usually you do not have to confirm an email though. Make sure you are typing in everything correctly.

im sure im entering the user and pass correctly into the sign in but all i get is Error failed to sign in

i did see a thread saying it could be my firewall blocking it but it said it connected to the remote server so it doesnt seem to be the firewall

i got it to work it appears that you cant use special characters in pass which was making it invalid yet it works on the forums

this issue has been going on since the release of osbot. I have yet to be able to log in because of it.

I know right. I've been saying that as well. Forums just aren't a good way of tracking the issues, especially not when people make redundant threads for the same issue. An issue tracker would make them a lot easier to track and fix.

I suspect this may have to do with special characters in your password. Have you tried using a different password and seeing if it works? If it doesn't, I may need your login details to determine the problem. If the problem can still be replicated with a different password, then please change your password before sending it to me. I don't really see another way of resolving this since I haven't gotten the issue.
