November 29, 20187 yr Hi guys, I just purchased a proxy (my first time using one) from someone reputable on the forums and he was helping me set it up but for some reason I keep getting the error: "Socks proxy configuration error." We have no idea why, I am on a macbook air and like I said, I have never used a proxy before. I have included the right user/pass, host and port. He showed it working on his side, so I'm assuming it's something to do with my settings/laptop? Thanks for any help!!
November 29, 20187 yr Clear all Osbit files. Re-Install the client. And try it again. MAC is very temperamental with the client Edited November 29, 20187 yr by Wishy

Like I said, I’ve never used a proxy so I’m not sure if my computer is blocking it or I need to change a setting/something like that

November 29, 20187 yr Author Still not working, it also isn't working on Firefox when I add it into the proxy settings on there
December 2, 20187 yr Author So I got it to work when using the hotspot on my iPhone, but when I'm connected to my home wifi network, the proxy doesn't work. I don't get it, is it my ISP? My wifi-router? Anyone else experiences these issues? Thanks!
