He's paying 30m though, so 5m supplies => 25m profit

You are being paid for your original work, that means anything left would then define profit. if you buy fire runes at 5gp and sell them at 7gp, that's 2gp profit PER rune sold, you do not say oh I made 7gp per rune because in fact you didn't.

So 2gp profit per rune but what about the time it took you to buy and sell those runes? You can't just factor in time in one equation and not the other. 

You only make profit doing runescape services if you are a venezuelan.
