September 4, 201312 yr So yeah, as you may know today the poll for GWD is up, and it seems like Jagex doesn't care about their users opinions, since the noted addy bar drops from Aviansies seems to change, so the bars are not noted, which make them completely useless for money making. Tbh I thought this was the only fun money making place pre-eoc. I find it kinda weird that Jagex are saying the community determines how OSRS should be, but they dont let us vote for this?
September 4, 201312 yr They probably know most of the people at aviansies were bots. Just there attempt to poke us.
September 4, 201312 yr Did they say they'll not be noted? I haven't ready the whole blog as they just talk complete crap in there. I just presumed they'd of kept it as it was back in the day? I am reading shit on the poll about the Sara boss dropping an Armadyl crossbow, wtf is jagex doing... The community actually agrees with it aswell. WTAF

WTAF Yea it sucks, they wrote multiple times on the forums, that they wouldn't let people vote on the addy bar drops
September 4, 201312 yr To be completely honest, Runescape was ruined when they released GWD. Goodbye 07.
September 4, 201312 yr What's so bad about an Armadyl Crossbow? It doesn't replace any other GWD weapon/armor and only adds to the game. You guys don't think it would be rather stale to just continue updating in order from 2007 to whatever year...? Nostalgia only lasts so long. Edited September 4, 201312 yr by gagamonster
September 4, 201312 yr They said they weren't reducing the frequency or # of drops, just that the drops will no longer be noted (providing the poll passes). Now this could still be a money making opportunity albeit not nearly as fruitful as before. Lets do some basic maths. Addy Bars high alch for 384 gp nature runes cost 284 gp fire runes cost 3 gp so thats still a profit of 85 gp per high alch, or 100 gp using a fire staff. Not sure what the per hour rate would be, but it still makes it a nice camping spot for training ranged. ** this is all providing the change happens ** Edited September 4, 201312 yr by Brozu

In any case its still not as worthless of a place as people seem to think it will be. the potential for profit is still good, as well as the exp.
September 4, 201312 yr Everything Jagex doesn't include in the oldschool servers was a mistake from RS3. Think of the oldschool servers as the "should-be" version of what live Runescape should be right now.
