I have gotten a proxy SOCKS 4/5 and I still get an error message.
I have an amazing internet connection. So I am unsure what the problem is.

Problem solved. When I copied the Ip address there was a space added somewhere.

No, I just got a brand new proxy.

Make sure you're actually using the SOCKS5 port, some services give you the http and sock5 port.
