"Java(TM) Platform SE binary stopped working"

Featured Replies

Been getting this error message for a couple of days now, never had this prior, been botting for over a year with no problem.

The client starts as normal until the Runescape login window. After I click "Login", it loads the client for like a half a second and then the whole client freezes and a Windows popup window appears saying something among the lines (my OS language is not English so it might not be fully correct):

"Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

And then starts the "trying to resolve the problem" -process, which always ends up to the client crashing.

I've tried the following:

  • Reinstalling OSBot 2.5.8 (including deleting all previous OSBot data in my computer by hand)
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Java (the latest 64x Java 8 JRE)
  • Updating my graphic cards driver (Intel)

My imagination is starting to run out of thing to try to get this fixed. Would be more than great if someone knew what's the problem here and even more if how to fix it.

Thank you all in advance, and thank you for this great client and for the wholesome community!

Works now, huge thanks guys!

Did both the things @Chris & @0x7CB suggested and I also re-installed vanilla client. OSBot is now working as usual.
