Mackadizzle
First of all, even if the accounts are "hacked" how do you know for sure? If someone notices something odd on their account they should change their password immediately. Also, you can't stop people from selling certain things. For example: I'm selling minecraft accounts. I've seen someone else sell Spotify accounts. What rights DO YOU HAVE to make us to stop? How do you know that the runescape account you're buying wasn't hacked some way or another? My point is just because someone is doing something that you doesn't think is right, LEAVE THEM BE. IT IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM When people admit the accounts are hacked (its basically admitted to be a hacked account when you say "the owner can change the password at any time") , then sorry if i make the assumption that the owner doesnt want the buyer of the "hacked" account to have access to it. If i spent money on a netflix account, i wouldn't like it being sold and used on forum sites without my consent... i guess thats just me. The fact is, these accounts are being sold without the consent of the person who's paying for them, which violates their rights and i dont think its even legal When you try to argue, be a bit more mature lol. Talking like you're angry and then making bold red text makes you look like an idiot, it really doesnt help get your point across Edited August 31, 2013 by Mackadizzle

This has got to be one of the most hypocritical things ever. Go read some of these forums and see exactly what goes on here. Then refer back to this useless topic and delete it. Thanks for the fun read, though. It truly is entertaining to watch someone akin to a Pirate talk shit on other Pirates. Sorry if your eye patch is on the left instead of the right. The rest of us just see shit a lot differently and a lot clearer than you, apparently.

Even if you get people to stop selling them on this website they will still sell it in some form. If its thru a mass message on skype or PMs on forums. Just like private scripts being sold. Pointless to even try.

LithiumVolt
They should be allowed to sell whatever they want. They are offering a virtual service. How are you so high and mighty? Breaking Runescape's terms of service IS against the law, it's just not worth their time to prosecute you. As far as I'm aware bots are also against the law, as they're redistributing/altering copyrighted code, regardless of whether or not they're directly distributing rs's cache. If people are willing to pay for a service then let them do it. Watching porn under 18 is also illegal, but I don't bitch and moan when a teenager decides to stream some fap material. Mind your own business.

Mind your own business. I dont bot so that doesnt apply to me. Breaking runescapes terms of service isn't against the law, its just grounds for them to ban you from their game. Bots and RWT is against the law though, since your selling property that isnt owned by you. Im just saying that HACKED accounts shouldn't be sold. Its wrong. If someone hacked your account on osbot, and then proceeded to sell it in the market, im sure we'd hear alot of bitching from you.. right? or is that wrong lol
LithiumVolt
If someone manages to hack my account and sell it, good for them. I'd be impressed considering I don't youtube "2007scape gp generators." Whether or not I'd be upset doesn't change the fact that someone out there is willing to pay for an illegal service and someone out there is willing to offer it. Have you ever smoked weed? Illegal, and someone is breaking the law to provide it for you. Ever watched porn as a kid? Just get over yourself. You don't have to think it's right, you're entitled to that opinion. But you can't control other people, and it won't do any good to try.

Weed's actually legal here and its legal to grow too. thats all besides the point This site shouldn't support illegal account sales. Your way of justifying illegal activities is "Someone out there is willing to pay an illegal service and someone out there is willing to offer it" lmfao really? Nothing you say really matters anymore if thats your view of how things should work And its really easy to say "if someone hacked my account and sold it, good for them, id be impressed" when it hasnt happened. i can gaurantee that your whole attitude would change if I was selling YOUR hacked account. You wouldn't be civil towards me at all, or congratulating me lol. you'd be fighting to get me banned. thats the definition of a hypocrite Edited August 31, 2013 by Mackadizzle

Mvillehero
This Mick dude.... Successful troll or just a complete and utter moron? It has yet to be seen, but I'm leaning towards the latter... Get off your horse, bro. No one's listening. The fact that you don't bot really begs the question as to why you joined OSBot.org. To be one of Jagex's few and far between "Company Men"? Or are you just here to post nonsense in order to get replies? As state in the post prior to this, people need to make money. How they do it is their business, and if you don't want a part of that business, stay out of it. If you see someone selling crack on the side of the street, you either buy it or you don't. Someone is getting their grind on and doing what they think is best for them. None of it affects you. At all. Use it or don't. Cry or ignore it. The choice is always yours. But, for real, don't push a dead issue. The Only Mvillehero.EDIT: My accounts have been hacked multiple times. You know what I did? I laughed and thought, "What a slick mother fucker." There's nothing else to do about that but move on and learn from it. Not cry like a mid-pubescent child attempting to throw his "morals" (probably learned on Ellen or Oprah) in someones face.
