how you drying your buds? & I hope your not planning on wasting any of the trimmings! get those leaves turnt to hash tea at least :3

The curing and drying process; For the first week/week and a half the buds will be kept in air-lock tight glass jars. Where, (I'm going to try and get this as close as possible) I will let the buds sweat the moisture out for 4 hours and then open the jar to air it out and to bring in new oxygen for an 1 hour, and then repeat the process, this way you draw the moisture out of the inner buds, instead of just drying the outside, also, since it sweats in the jar, (But not long enough to rot) it keeps the goodness, potency, and smell. Then for the last week/week and a half, (All depends on eye satisfaction, feel, and of course the taste) the cured buds will then be placed into paper bags in a fairly cool room, the execute the rest of the moisture on the outside.

 

Trimmings; Don't worry my friend, I don't know how to do it personally and cba to look into, but my mate use filter paper and alot of dry ice, and he said this is the best method for ice hash, so no they will not be going to waste ;)

 

Update 06/10/13: The 2 G13s are too bushed out now, and there is not enough room for all 3 of my lovely ladies, fortunately I foresaw an event such as this, so luckily I kept my old 250W CFL, and putting the Mazar Kush on her own since she has 2 weeks and 6 days left to go ;) I'm just hoping it won't shock the plant too much in the change of wattage, and also the different output from the HPS to thee CFL, will have to see in a few days time.

ahhh i've not come across that jar drying method before; I've only know the jar to cure the buds for a good month or so :p but thanks this seems a more appropriate approach than drying racks; I'll be using this one myself!!! you should keep yourself a jar of nugs and cure them for 2 months and smoke yourself to oblivion your G13 will taste better than pussy! 

 

good call on the ice hash; I looked into it myself on the weekend how to make it; i also considered making wax; but it seems dangerous to jump right into that one without deep research. i

 

It shouldn't shock your plant toooo much as it's near the end; you would of completely fucked it if it got changed at the start I imagine >.<

When you trim your buds, you can save the trimmings (the leaves) and scrape them with something like a pocket knife or scissors (not alot of pressure) , you can then collect the resin/keef and smoke it (close to pure THC), If you do this please post a picture of how much you got haha

I didn't take any good pictures of the smaller G13, but she is coming along nicely. Harvest day is approaching, the Mazar is on her flush and will be cropped down in 1 week and 5 days because of space. The G13s on the other hand have another 3 weeks and 5 days, and had there finally boost over nutrients today, but if the trichomes don't deteriorate at a rapid rate, I might push them both another week/week and a half. We will have too see.
