As you can see here, this will most likely break a large majority of scripts, and I can only imagine the designs some of the scripts will create (both good and very bad) to fix it.

Eh, it's very borderline because the OSBot API almost already completely writes the script for the scripter (Buy/Sell GE API, WebWalking, InteractionEvent, etc). If I write more API for such functionality, I feel we're going to fall into the same trap of making nice API that either:

a) People write conflicting code for (i.e. visibility/distance checks in IE)
b) Someone complains about detection 
c) Scripters implement their own functions because they feel its better

I did consider API for it, but it's really pushing what the API vs what the scripter should be doing.
