DDOS lurers

Featured Replies

Just as a heads up to anybody interested, today a group of lurer's asked me to join their luring group as a talker or something (after failing to lure me, i didn't know lurer's dont actually drop mills, and its just 10k all the time, but w/e, got 10k and a santa hat from them), anyways, they invite me to a skype call, then randomly the guy says he'll give me 15 mill if I drop all my stuff on the ground (I had like 10mill of stuff in inven), I probably would have done it, but they decided to test out their ddos before trying this and dc'ed me, so it got pretty obvious.

Anywho, i didn't even accept the call, and I didn't know they could get ip info without the call being accepted(I've changed my skype settings now so only contacts can do that). After I called them out I sent them a bunch of links of people going to prison for a few years for ddosing just for fun :P then they proceeded to ddos me again.

Luckily I was on a vpn so they didn't get my home ip anyways. But just so nobody meets these guys in game and the dicks decide to cut your internet off for lolz, here's their skype names.

You only have to know someone's skype email to get their ip address unfortunately. But thanks for the heads up.

People think 'Oh if I allow contacts to get my info and shit I can't be ddosed' well you're very wrong. Nuff said.

Why does everyone use skype if it's so vulnerable?

Idiots, they don't have access to your IP through RS >_>. But in seriousness luring is fun ^_^

I thought it was fairly clear that they got it through skype...

I didn't read the comments, soz. But that is why you should use a proxy.

I did...I'm sad that you didn't read my post :P

I don't even add people on Skype that I met on Runescape..... Unless they really seem like the chill type who don't know how / wouldn't Ddos..

I don't even use swift kit IRC or anything, keep it strictly to runescape.

Don't add people on skype from Runescape.
