Team Cape
european innovation was built from the innovation of literally hundreds of other nations, from the arabs and greeks, to the indians, to the chinese that effectively pushed them 2000 years ahead of where they would've been. Clearly he hasn't done nowhere near enough of his history homework to cover that the middle-east played some of the most pivotal parts in developing essential mathematics which is now used globally. Just because the school bully takes your homework and claims it for his own, doesn't mean it's his. It's not just the Middle East but basically the entire world. Only real thing I can give Europe credit for is being able to take over the entire world - which is what they've done - and adapt things from a bunch of different parts of the world and later call it theirs. @OP If you want a history lesson i'm sure you can find it, just don't believe what you were taught in school or by one group of people. 2 hours ago, Imateamcape said: european innovation was built from the innovation of literally hundreds of other nations, from the arabs and greeks, to the indians, to the chinese that effectively pushed them 2000 years ahead of where they would've been. Well, Europeans travelled the world searching for other nations. They met with the people and laughed and joked. The other people thought they were friendly and shared their knowledge then the Europeans used their weapons and colonized everyplace and turned people into slaves. Basically the main thing Europe had was their weapons and desire to colonize everything.

The arabs compiled basically all ancient European, Greek, Indian, and Chinese data (including mathematics, physics, biology, art, technology, etc), and they got it from the Arabs. That's why the European Renaissance happened directly after the Arab golden age lol.

There were also a group of Moores that travelled around Europe and showed them how to clean up, bathe and cook food. They didn't know much and would go their entire life without taking any baths or anything. Surprisingly, they lived the entirety of their life - some bragged about it - without cleaning them self and literally had animals running inside and out of their house but then were wondering why they all died from the plague.
