littlet
Hello everyone! I'm still pretty new at botting and I've got some questions. I'm attempting to set up a goldfarm, and so far the progress has been nice. I have realized I have not been very safe with my accounts, and a ban might be on my way. I read that my main accounts are in jeopardy if I use them to transfer over the gold from my bots, and that creating a mule account which has not been botted on to transfer the gold is the way to go. Now my bots have proxies and are running just fine, but I did not want to buy another proxy just for my mule, so I opted into using a free VPN, TunnelBear. The VPN was fine, but my newly created mule account was locked shortly after I logged out because jagex thought it was stolen. It is clear to me TunnelBear's free VPN is just flagged and thats what caused the problem. I went and recovered the account and everything is fine now. Howver I am now concerned that my mule account will now get locked everytime I access it through TunnelBear since it will give me a different IP everytime. So my questions are as followed: 1. I know account creation should be done with a differnet IP than my home IP. Is there a way to do that with proxies? For my bot accounts I connected them to a free VPN, and then once the account was created I used the proxy. Is there a way to access the runescape website with proxies? 2. Will my mule account continue to be locked if I continue accessing it through TunnelBear? 3. What is the best way to go about account creation? Should I connect with a free VPN? I fear my account will still get locked if I purchase a VPN and then swap to my proxies once the account is playable. 4. Do mule accounts, which have no bots running on them often get banned? Should I sell off my gold fairly quickly, or can I let it accumulate some? EDIT: So I did some more research and I found this thread. Basically in this thread irwtonrs1 says that the only way to get around your account getting locked is for you to create the account on your main IP, run through tutorial island, and then bot on it with your proxy. However I thought I read that creating an account on your main IP, and then later botting with a proxy on it would flag both the proxy and the main IP. Does the main IP not get flagged, but only the proxy if the account is banned? Edited May 17, 2017 by littlet
Diclonius
I think you're just going to have to buy a proxy for your mule.

I figured as much, but now I don't know if I have to create another mule or not. I have recovered my current mule, but if I buy and use a proxy on it won't it just locked again, or possibly even banned?

Get some proxy. Not all proxy work. 4. No. I have a bot running on my mule 24/7, no bans as of yet.
Guest
Use private proxies or something. Chances are, anything public is already flagged and will guarantee you a ban.
