Seems like I show up every damn day and someone has their name changed. Getting pretty annoying.

1. If you've had a TWC / was forced to refund in the past month you cannot change names. 

2. There is a "previous" names part of your profile.

Its getting really fookin anoying that you can change your name to avoid rep within the community. I dont like being confused. Cmon m8s

I'm just annoyed because I simply won't know who is who in the end.

This actually happens more often than people think.

But @k9thebeast, I don't think it's possible to stop name changes for anyone who's had a dispute placed on them except for giving them a rank with a name change restriction... Even then, it's not a huge issue.

Also, people keep their rep (feedback). You can't just get rid of neutral/negative without a good reason - at least, i hope you can't...

Name changes don't do much, especially if you know who the person is. If they change their name then they obviously are hiding something or aren't worth trying to remember.

1. We can only restrict namechanges based on the current rank someone has.

If there's a hook to set restrictions based on a rank that someone previously had then we can do it, but I doubt there is something like that.

 

2. As stated above, you can already check previous names.
