IMO it's pathetic yes. I no way agree with why he was put in prison however, he did threaten to take down a high school.
Even though he probably isn't even capable of doing so, saying he would take down a high school WITH HIM if ANYTHING he needs mental help, not prison time. It is way out of context though, to throw someone in prison over something they typed up on a video game. It's just how the world works sadly, just be glad that nothing you ever said on scape got you thrown in jail (lol) I hope this kid get's out of prison early.

I don't like the fact that people are apparently watching everything we write. The kid shouldn't have gone to jail, I'm sure we have all said bad things when we get mad.

There should be consequences for coming up with shit like that, but 10 years.. Come on. What's the purpose? Even if the guy was serious and was plotting to do what he threatened to do, what would it help? After he sat the 10 years, what's he going to do? "Man, that was sure was one long 10 years. Definitely learned my lesson here, all my negative thoughts are all of a sudden gone." Right. The system is flawed, and it only gets worse as cases like this are brought in.
