I've decided to get defense on my 1 defense pure. What list of quests should I do to get to 42 defense?

I'm going to want to be able to wield Heavy Ballista. What're the best quests and most I can get done possible to get 42.

All suggestions help and are taken into consideration

Can I get barrows gloves at 42 defense? 

Can I do all those bolded quests, MM, and MM2 and still be under 42?

oh shit forgot abt those. Hmm it will be difficult i think maybe mm + dslayer and then nature spirit

Then what about MM2?

you will have to do heroes quest + nature spirit + d slayer + monkey madness and u can do mm2 without going over 42

 

Edit : You cant be 42 def and do mm2

So fremennik trials and isles are out of the list. Think it's still ok to get 42 without those?

yeah for mm do the 20k xp for def not 35

btw it doesn't hurt to get exp without actually getting another level (43) in def to have the quests that you want done such as trials or isles
