Maybe they flag your IP so that when the time comes and you have other account they will suspect you botted.

6,How many random events failed?: 1. The client failed to complete a prison pete random.

I left my account at 1AM and came back at 5AM and saw I was logged off. When I logged back in I was in a Prison Pete random. I completed the random myself then went back to botting and stopped watching the screen. 20 minutes later I looked back at the screen, the console showed I had received TWO more "hard" randoms, pinball and pete again, and my character was logged out. I couldn't log back in this time though... BANNED.

7. Did you trade large stacks of items/GP to a main account? Yes. I did transfer about 15k ore in sets of 1k - 10k at a time TO the account that got banned. I'm near positive this has nothing to do with it.

There is likely some form of auto detection system involving randoms that flags suspicious accounts. I was botting 20+ hours a day in another location and had no problems. This is the first time I logged on and found myself inside a random, and not long after my account was banned. That's probably not a coincidence.

Some other interesting information:

I was botting on two accounts at the time but only one of those accounts was logged in. After the first account was banned I checked the status of the second one from the "Accounts" page on the main website and it said the account was in the "safe zone" for following the game rules.

At the time I still had not closed the client that the account that had gotten banned was using when it got banned. So I tried to log onto my second account to see if I could actually get in game and I was able to... but only for a few seconds... then the screen froze up, I couldn't move my character, and I was disconnected from the server. I tried to log back in on that account and now it said it was "disabled". I went back to the Accounts tab on the main runescape page and now this account (the one that was offline when the bot got banned) was also completely in the red zone and permanently banned.

Lesson: don't try to log back in on another account without immediately if one of your accounts gets banned.
