Will Stealth Mode get you banned?

I understand the whole risk.

Basically, ive returned to RS after a couple of years and signed in to my accounts via PB and used 4 of them to bot different things. They were all banned almost instantly as if RS knew i was using a client. Is this the case with OSBot? My question is, does stealth mode do anything different to the standard PB client?

Buy VIP (only 9,99) and bot via the mirror client. It lowers the banrate significant. (there is still a chance to be banned of course but it is significant lower than using the normal mode)

proof pls,

First of all I am talking out of my own experience.

Second: the mirror client (as far as I know) does not inject jagex code hence the client itself remains undetected and they ban you based on your behavior (bad script good script, do you repeat the same movement all time, mouse clicks etc.) and reports from other players.

Maybe someone can confirm this/or correct me if I am wrong

See thats what im trying to do.. Well run the Wine of Zamoraks to get a bit of cash flowing as ive had to start fresh..

I suggest testing it out yourself. There are lots of factors when talking about banrates.

While you're at it, go read some guides that are posted in these forums. Trust me when I say they really help alot.

To answer your question, Jagex CAN tell if you are using an unofficial client, but they just don't know which one. This is why they don't insta-ban if you use a botting client. As an experiment, try this: Play legit on one account, and at the same time, bot on another account, and see who gets banned first (or at all). Use the same client!

Mirror-mode is stealthy as fuck and Jagex thinks you are using the official client, when you are really botting.

Of course, this does not mean you can run shitty scripts and get away with it, you will need to run good scripts that mimic human behaviour to a 'T'.

NO ONE really knows how Jagex's detection system works so it is unknown what really flags an account. If they did use clients to flag people, then mirror-mode would certainly be useful and skip the initial detection phase. A lot of people have reported reduced bans with mirror-mode, so maybe it is helpful.
