1. Yes it does use the shortcut

It takes the shortcut but It didn't mind the falador medium diary requirement.

So it was basicly trying to get through it even while you didn't had the diary completed.

Well I found the link that was installed, we even have a TODO in there to add an achievement diary requirement.

 

If the Achievement Diaries were setup more like Quests, I would be able just to make some new API for it real quickly. Unfortunately, it looks like the only way to check if tasks are completed (through widgets) is by opening the diary itself.

 

TLDR; I can remove the link or if you found a way to tell which individual diary tasks are completed I'm listening.
