PaasHazen18 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Today OSRS got updated, I guess changes were made to OSBot because of this as well? Now my OSBot client uses 190% CPU, like wtf? Peaks to 220% even. And it's even in low CPU mode?! I also have a hard time clicking on "Settings", mostly it just won't work. Nothing opens. I've restarted the client multiple times and I'm on Mac. This never happened before. My Macbook is getting so hot and the fan is blowing hard, normally that never happens.. Anyone knows a solution?
PaasHazen18 Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Isnt 100% max, how its possible 190%? Uhm dual core or something? I don't know, but 100 isn't my max :p. Normally a RS client would be around 80-90 and with low CPU mode 50-60..
Aiban Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Guy came into chatbox with a similar problem said he could usually run 2 tabs but cant do it anymore 1
House Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Meanwhile lowcpu on my end.. Time for an upgrade / better script?
Sean Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Im getting lag spikes also but only on 1 of my clients lol. All using the same script. Im using 3% per client at normal times but 1 or 2 just randomly spike to 30-40% Ever since this rs update lol 1
Flax Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Same, it's normally around 10-20% CPU, now it peaks at 60-65%.. 1
Sean Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Just 15 bots. Doing fine. what pc do you have lol I mean mine runs at 3% normally per bot but jeez lol
House Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Its maybe an error in the api which causes errors and your scripts are all using the common method that causes it?
