July 19, 20169 yr Currently I ride a pretty much stock 2009 GSXR 1,000 I have a few upgrades to it. TaylorMade custom exhaust. Custom Performance air clutch. Yesterday I ordered some pretty cool parts and some misc things I wanted. New Helmet $99.00 on Amazon + Mics top flairs New custom fairing kit $695.00 I also got the chrome shield with it I already have a cowl for the back but I mostly use the back seat anyhow but I'm planning on having the wind shield custom pray painted. I don't know what I want it to be yet but its gonna be cool as fuck. Also I have the power commander on the way. After I put the power commander on ima still get it dyno tuned for the extra torque and top end HP. I'm basically trying to kill any stock busa or stock zx-14 That's pretty much all I ordered for now ran out of money but I still want to get stuff for it. Gonna have to get the gas tank custom painted to match the fairing kit. I wanna get demon eyes and turbo with a 12 inch swing arm gonna lose some top end speed but the torque will be bad ass. I can hit 187MPH right now on my GSXR hopefully with all of these performance upgrades ill be able to hit 220mph and with the turbo and 12 inch swing are and lower it 2 inches or 3 ill be able to hit 240-250mph without blowing the engine and possibly put it on the drag track. HMU with thoughts and questions if you have any other than that thanks for the read.
July 23, 20169 yr Author Hey, do kawasaki make good starter bikes? Yea but my advice don't start with a starter bike go straight for a 750cc or 600cc. I started with a Yamaha 2015 350cc and 1 month later and 6k down the drain I bought my GSXR 1,000. I only ended up getting about $3,000 trade in value from the 6k I paid for the 350cc.
July 23, 20169 yr Author Woah, 600cc is a bit to fast and powerful IMO. Naw not once you start riding. You can get a good 600cc-750cc off your local bike groups facebook with clean titles for no more than $3,500 a basic stock bike. Some people sell 250cc and 300cc for like 1.5k-2k you just gotta know where to look. Here in Houston we have a huge bike life so bikes are always on the market. Edited July 23, 20169 yr by Omnificent
July 25, 20169 yr Sweet, though I've always preferred R1 over the GSX-R1000. For me, the R1 handles the curves better. I still miss my old Ninja 636 stunt bike the most.

July 27, 20169 yr I'm not a bike master by any means but I don't think you'll be able to reach 240mph without changing gearing/sprockets as they'll be the limiting factor not the power of the bike. Also, if your bike locks up at 200mph... GG. Or hell even 150 lol. If you're not tracking your bike be careful topping that thing out all it takes is one lane change to end you man. If I'm cruising in my car doing 90 I'm not going to see you on a bike coming up on me at 150+. Also, advice I've had is dont skimp on a helmet you want one comfy so you'll wear it so it'll save your life. Found one dude in the median unconscious dumped his r1 and still had his helmet strapped to his bike... didnt wake up whole time waiting for ambulance. Good luck with the fairings sounds like you know what youre doing but my buddies ebay plastics were a PITA to get on didn't wana line up properly. All those goodies gonna be sweet EDIT: And oh yeah check out the Kawasaki h2r if you haven't heard about it yet. Edited July 27, 20169 yr by Tyelr

Just got here today some of the gifts I ordered for myself and my big booty 1,000. This is the swing arm extension, neon light kit and the lowering kit.
