Recently i have been testing out different local/SDN scripts and it has been quite surprising at the amount of scripts that are not fully functional. It would be great to see a sectional moderator incharge of just scripts. Therefore they can all be tested and the ones that are not working can be updated by the scripter or removed. I just dont feel that it gives a positive image to OSBot if you were a new member.

 

I mean think about it, you join osbot and great it's free. Then you go to add a script and it doesnt work. You then realise that that there is no other alternate scripts you can use. (eg. Using a pure ess bot and then its outdated and there is no other pure ess miners). If this happens then people are just going to leave OSBot and go towards the competitors.

Sorry if this was a little long and it seemed like i am whining a little but i just felt the need to get my point across:)

 

Let me know what you guys think though as i am happy to do this as i've got alot of spare time atm:)

 

tl;dr - need a sectional moderator to test scripts to ensure all are functional else it risks off putting new members.

We could really do with some moderators moderating the local scripts!

 

A lot of them are broken or not fully functional, would be a lot more clean and tidy also professional with a mod(s) testing and tidying!

Yes but however alot of them make scripts and fail to update them as they are inactive or simply don't have the time.

I agree with both sides.

 

It is YOUR responsibility to check if something you're downloading even works so read comments and check dates. BUT also, you don't want to have to search through like 10 scripts to only find 1 script that works/updated.

 

I don't think OSBot needs a dedicated script section mod but if a forum mod just cleans up that section once and awhile not all the time, that would probably be best.

repeat. Don't make another type of mod just get a forum mod to go check out the script section and clean it up once and awhile...

well if we all carry on with Master Chief's type of attitude. then i can see a lot of people getting frustrated, what is it with you wank stains.. why does every thing have to be you you you all the time, you are wrong!

 

The should be staff doing this job, OSBot is offering a service, how sloppy does it look when people are going into local scripts downloading them to find they don't work and that we just let any old bag of shit get uploaded, it is not acceptable.

 

And not everyone has scripting experience not everyone knows what to look for, after all why should anyone using the bot par the script writers have a fucking inkling of what's going on with the scripts people come here for the service, not to have to learn coding to use the fucking service you muppet!
