wadbot1 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 i always bot 24/7 even if its weekday and i get bans after 1-2weeks 1
Royal Posted June 16, 2016 Author Posted June 16, 2016 i always bot 24/7 even if its weekday and i get bans after 1-2weeks I assume you use a private Script 1
Zion_OSRS Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I suicided an account that I didn't care about too much with a 2 day ban and fished for 4 days straight. Got to 90 something fishing at barb fishing before being banned, and that was with a 2 day ban. Also I just recently had two accounts banned on a sunday night, so they most definitely do ban on weekends. If you are suiciding, you will 100% be banned. It's really just luck that determines how long you last imo. Yes, you can use private scripts and bot things that aren't as common, but ultimately if your xp gain is only in one or two skills and your account is logged in over 12 hours Jagex catches on quite quickly. I wouldn't bother suiciding unless the account is purely for money making and you have a dank money making method that you can accumulate enough profit with 2-3 days before it's banned to be worth it. 1

I had some accounts banned on Monday morning. 2:43am est which in Jagex HQ its 7:43.
Zion_OSRS Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 I had some accounts banned on Monday morning. 2:43am est which in Jagex HQ its 7:43. I also received a 2 day ban on an account on a Saturday, so if the whole theory that bans aren't administered on weekends was valid at some point. They either have recently (in the last few months) hired people for moderating accounts for weekends or the theory was invalid from the start. I don't think that 100% of bans are administered by actual Jagex staff going around and banning accounts in game. A lot of it is probably done from computers that monitor players with certain aspects of the account that raise a flag in the Jagex system and then later on the weekdays someone looks into it and either unbans them or sees they are a legitimate botter and administer a ban. Just my opinion and experience from 2 years of botting.

Chikan Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Weekend bans are definitely not as frequent, but I'm just saying that it is possible. For obvious reasons, I don't think jagex could staff enough people on weekends to catch all the bots. Too many people take advantage of their days off. 1
