Well, I developed it specifically for our school, so that was kind of how I had it done. Teachers really aren't going to be using it because it's the students that upload the gapped files. Mostly, it just tries to ensure you have a valid edu email address you can access.

I created a small project website to be used at school by the students (though it is a small campus). I was wondering what the interest would be in expanding the website for other campuses / communities. What the website does is allow users to upload PDF files for classes listed (which can be added). The PDF files are basically old tests, quizzes, homework, etc, which is called gap. Users can go on the website and search for a class or teacher that they need gap for. They can then download the gap. However, the user must be logged in (with a valid campus email) to view the database of gap and to download anything. Each user can remove or edit the gap they have uploaded while admins can edit and remove all gap. Here's a couple of pictures illustrating the database layout and what each uploaded file looks like when a user views them.

It depends on the quest. If I can complete the quest and have all the items required to complete it in the inventory and not need extra room, then yes. I have only 1 account, and it hasn't been a member in a while because I haven't had the urge to play.

Are you even an engineer if you don't do an internship? I'll be a senior this coming fall, and I'll graduate with an International Business & Logistics minor as well. I did a construction internship last year with Kiewit & I'm working at a power plant this summer. I thought about computer engineering too.

Introduction I'm not good with graphics, so I will therefore hold on graphics until I feel the need to have them done. I've been with the forum for a while, used the software, developed minor scripts, and had an account banned whilst using the software. I come and go from the forum quite frequently, but now I'm offering my hand crafted services for accounts at a small price to build reputation. It's not the money for me. Services - As of right now, services will include any novice - medium difficulty quests for free (with the possibility of others as well). - Account creation (I have two privately owned domains and the ability for unlimited email creation). With account creation, I will get accounts to whatever point you want them to be at. But remember, it's hand-done leveling / questing, for free. - Leveling will be the third, possibly not the last service, which will be offered for free as well. Pose a leveling request, and you shall get an answer. T.O.S. 1. You may not log into the account during a service unless you have permission from the owner of the service, doing so will result in the termination of the service with NO Refund. 2. You MUST NOT change the details of the account until the service has been completed, doing so will result in a void service with NO Refund. 3. If there are any items required for the service, it is between you and the service owner to come to an agreement on who covers them. 4. You MUST change your password after the service is completed. 5. If you have any substantial wealth on the account, it is your responsibility to protect it (Bank Pin/Transfer/Trade). 6. Once the service is complete you must leave feedback for the relevant parties involved. 7. You MUST Post on the service thread to acknowledge their individual T.O.S and to start the service. 8. If the service is requested to be done legit, any T.O.S related to bans/mutes become obsolete (Unless evidence can be provided of prior botting). 9. I will go first on all transactions. A MM will be used if I feel uncomfortable trading you. 10. I have the right to decline any order.

Are there any engineers here? If so, what discipline? I'm a power engineer myself, so I have some mechanical, electrical, and construction experience as well as power plant operations.

The "no" has been updated. I forgot I even created this awful looking signature. The script behind it is decent, but I'm not sure how it is with blocking people from accessing the page. Apparently that can be a problem. On the other hand, if Dota was dead, they wouldn't have a Beta in the process to restore custom games to bring back the glory days of Warcraft III. There's a lot of interest in that. I'm making a community geared toward Dota 2 / the new version coming out.

It's not the price that bothers me. It's the fact that they have raised the price from $5 to $9.50 and yet they haven't made the game any better. Yes, they add more crap to the game, but they don't enhance it and make it a more sound game.

I think you meant to say the following: I hope with the price increase, they'll get rid of their awful game engine and introduce a new one where graphics can be upgraded (along with all their other outdated crap).

Yeah, we're expecting to be closed tomorrow for sure. I've got 22 credits this semester, so I've got classes everywhere. So, I miss class no matter what, haha. Next year (senior) will be a totally different story though.

I thought that's what I read, but it's still a bit absurd. Plenty of free games to play which take skill and patience to learn and master.

You probably won't stay with RS long when they change the price to $9.50 a month or whatever it is for the year. I know I'll be playing my other games at that rate. It's quite absurd. But in any case, welcome back. I just came back too.

There's a lot of things that don't really make sense. But it's able to be modeled and proven. There's a lot of bizarre stuff, but it's also pretty cool too. It just defies what you'd think and it pisses you off.

Well, it's a Nor-Easter, so the storm is all thanks to you guys anyway. The storm is going to cover New York, Connecticut, all the way up through Maine. Depending on where you are in Canada, I would assume you'll get a nice covering as well. Looks like St. John is going to get hit by the blizzard, or as some meteorologists are calling it, a Snow Bomb.
