  1. Oh man... this is very nostalgic. Good to know the tutorials we threw together around back then still is being used by people.
  2. Oh and I'd love to see some results if anyone is going to try it out.
  3. Ahhh, that makes sense. I had no idea it was him since I really don't watch basketball. That signature was actually a request from some guy back in 2011. Thank you for the information though.
  4. Thank you guys, I appreciate the comments. Although I have no idea who Derrick Rose is. XD
  5. It's been quite a long time since I've done any tags actually.. the last one was back in 2012. I'm thinking of getting back into it but I'll probably be rusty. Haha. Anyhoo! These are some of my favorite works that I did way back in 2011-2012. I'd love to recieve feedback and comments if there are any. Thanks for taking the time to look at them, and if you'd like to see more there's still a couple in my dA page. Have a good day everyone~
  6. Really? I tried clicking them myself and they redirected me to the deviantart page, there's a download link there on the middle-right part. :x

    Untainted Art!

Loved the work on your atmosphere and flow and lighting. A few.. well, I'm not sure and I'm hoping it's just because of the tagwall-- but, you have a tendency to stretch the image. It's a terrible habit that you need to break if you haven't yet. Oh and are these topazed? Overall, it's pretty good. If you continue working and adding your own twist to this style, it could very well turn out to be a really good way for you to improve. Keep it up!
  8. Erm these are pretty old but, basically this is just a compilation of the signature/basic tutorials I've written. Click the links to view them! Enjoy~ and I hope you learn a thing or two. Signature Tutorial(s) Clipping Mask Tutorial C4D Abstract Tutorial Basic Tutorial(s) Scanlines/Saving Patterns Gloss Light/Gradients
  9. I'm.. a girl, and yes. Please feel free to use them. They're all still licensed under the person who created the works separately, but they're public files and we have the creative freedom to use them.
  10. So, quite a while back I've started this graphic blog resource project that I had going on. I had to stop though for personal reasons, since my schedule wasn't fitting in and I didn't have time to manage it anymore. I've ammassed quite a few packs though, here's to hoping some people would find them useful. Just click the pictures to download. C4D Pack(s) Stock Pack(s) Render Pack(s) Enjoy~
  11. Well, I think the first thing.. before you focus on the specific technicalities of an artwork, is that you know what you're trying to do with your art. When you present a signature, what theme are you going with? What is that certain piece trying to convey? Artistically thinking is one of the key to become an artist. I personally like the simplicty of the text, however you'd have to account for certain elements that you used in the signature. You used an effect behind the text, basically as if something crashed onto a wall and blew it up into pieces. I'd have to think it would have been better if you used a different kind of font, probably a font a bit more rusty/edged/grunged. It would appear in a way that it follows and is more consistent to the elements present in the work that you did. This kind of font you used is round-ish, and gives a sense of bouncy, happy, playful feel, which as you can see, does not really play any consistency with the theme that the signature suggest. However, this is just my opinion. If you just want to tldr; I think you should have used a different font. I like the colors, by the way. But you can do some work with your light sources. Did you furnish this in PS after using C4D?
  12. Then I think it would be best if you post the raw outline without the basic shading first. If you're using photoshop, one way of having it easy to fill a shape when it's only an outline through the fill tool is that you can merge all the layers into a new one but make sure the background is white, or any other color as long as it is not a gradient, and then you can use the wand tool to select what's inside of the space. Hide it, create a new layer and use the fill tool-- I'm sure you get the drift.
  13. I could probably give it a shot but I'm not quite sure which direction you are trying to go. Is this on photoshop or AI? I'm thinking you've used photoshop because of the overlapping brush strokes with the outlines. Though usually vectors have this distinctive way of having concise shadows, I think brush effects are pretty too. I guess what I'm trying to ask is that, are you going to have it full-on vectored or have it a paint/brush style?
