Because the definition of being a Veteran somewhere means that you have been part of the website, game, group, ect ect for a long period of time. For example: in Runescape, players are able to obtain the Veteran cape if they have played for 5 years, or 10 years. It doesn't matter if they logged in more then once, they still get the honor of having that cape. If there are rules that have nothing do with with the actual term "Veteran"... why call it the Veteran rank?

The "Need to be helpful" rule is retarded anyways, being a Veteran somewhere means you've been a part of it for a long time. It doesn't mean that you are a very helpful person. And if that is what they are looking for, they should change the PIP to any of the following: The requirement for Veteran should not require a post count. It should merely require a join date of a certain time frame.

If @Maldesto won't give me Veteran because he says I'm not helpful, even though I am constantly helping people in @Deffiliate's and @Nitrousek's threads, and I'm constantly helping people fix client problems. I will just give myself Veteran.

meh, i needed 10 posts or so, so i wished some people good luck on their goals, granted the ~10 posts were just a few minutes a part i wouldnt really call it spamming because people really appreciate the support
