As I am still developing my ads and almost reaching 3 final design concepts that I will print off a2 or a3 sized. Do you guys think the designs having a pattern like background is better than plain background? The plain background ones are here:

Recently I had uni projects allowing me to approach the problem in the way I want. So I chose app design because my goal is to become a UI/Web Designer in the designing industry in a cooperative manner. UI for games is not working for me because I'm not good at it. Designing for businesses and cooperatives is now my official path. Here are 2 concepts I've made for practice purposes. The design idea behind the 2nd one is thanks to someone on Behance, its just to get my mindset into professional design.
  9. Haven't done any sort of manipulation for sometime. So I did a quick refreshment on my skills: speedart is below before: http://i.imgur.com/CVyzHEZ.png
  10. i don't do any game graphics sort of thing like modelling. I just want to do the UI work.

Currently practicing developing my UI skills for games etc..because that is my focus. I want to work in a games company as soon as I graduate. University work has nothing to do with this, so I have to study and work on this during my free time. So I came up with this:
  13. Thanks man and everyone I just noticed the error and fixing it asap
  14. Uni gave me a task around last week. This task basically was a collection of words and we had to pick one and incorporate the definition within type. So I went for the word Awkward since it was easy and straight forward, made thumbnails and then chose my solution. We were given text that we had to layout using the idea of "Hierarchy", what's the most important text to whats less important to the viewers. I used Illustrator since that is best for anything to do with vectors and type.
  15. Honestly yes, these designs are incredible.
  16. I've seen speedarts, some draw them and then color them in along with details. Some just cut out certain parts of an image and then place it around a frame for example. Let's say I cut out around a skull, then manipulate and edit that so it becomes a frames box and so on. I'll be using stocks since I'm not a digital illustrator, however as for frames using custom brushes and basic digital painting skills I'll be able to achieve decent frames too.
  17. I will absolutely, but it's going to be a tough road.

I just felt like sharing what's going on with my life at the moment. Since I got into university it's been quite a busy time. Now I'm working on a 4 week project and for this project you can take many different paths. Packaging Design, UI/UX/Website Design, and so on. Since I'm aspiring to be a UI/UX/Web Design specialist, i've chosen that path and my approach towards that project will contain allot of research and development, including design mock-ups and final outcome. I'll be working on producing designs at this quality, which takes 25-35+ hours of work. NOTE: THESE ARE NOT MY DESIGNS, JUST INSPIRATION
