Def don't alch regular do MTA alching only better xp hr than reg alching and cheaper for most items and way cheaper than alching longbows. Also you can make camelot tabs for a profit. I made house tabs to 93 mage which are a lot slower than camelot so you shouldn't have a problem with cammy.

Range level and bonus I think. A lot of people use longbows there so I'd assume its because bonus helps.

Really depends on the actual stats on both games the total level isn't enough. Like 99 prayer and construction is better than 99 cooking and fletching.
