 Coming from somebody who has absolutely no money invested in this, you have absolutely no say. Fucking freeloaders. Somebody who has no money invested? Who are you to say that those who don't purchase VIP or become a sponsor have no money invested? I probably have $50 invested in premium scripts, but do I flame or act like a little bitch who can't use my scripts? No, I don't. I understand the consequences which may cause frustration, I understand that the client/site may have down time preventing me from using the scripts I purchased, and most of all I UNDERSTAND THAT ACTING LIKE A FUCKING MORON...isn't going to solve your problem...Between this site and every other botting site I've ever used, I've spent well over $300, on top of my RS membership, my Internet bill, and my electric bill all of which I pay for (sorry I don't have mommy or daddy's credit card to spend what ever I want) please before you come and pass judgment on what "I pay for" and call me a free loader, take a look in the mirror and reflect on your own thoughts and actions...Fucking douche...

I agree with certain parts, such as keepin us in the loop. If there are issues behind the scenes at least acknowledge them to your customers. And if it's too hard to explain...well just say "look, where having some issues, there are no ETA's, but the moment we get something going we will let you all know." At least that way, threads like this aren't bombarding the threads. As for the swearing part, a bit uncalled for. We not only get to use a free client with free scripts, but it has been updated relatively quick compared to most sites, the fact that this was a BIG update could cause for more delay than usual. So be patient, don't get a butt hurt, I mean seriously are you running the site? dealing with issues? updating and developing the client to maximize your customers satisfaction? No...So Don't flame developers who aren't going to even remotely look at a thread titled "Fuck you mods" lol cuz if I was running the thread, I'd lock it and shut it down, and temp ban the guy who posted it. Just sayin...

Those extra features would be amazing. It would seriously help bring more people to this community. Especially some more scripters =D I'd be simply happy with being able to restart a client with out having to download the client every time (;

Lol to those of you who think that they'll be able to bot a ton of stuff right away, you must remember this is still in BETA phase, this means that there will be bugs, not all randoms will be fixed, and that their will not be all the scripts that we want, but within a month or so I feel like most if not all of it was be straightened out, and that the bot should be well versed by then. So please dont go ranging on the forums that "ITS STUCK!" simply post a thread of the error, explain how and why it happened, and it will be fixed =D

Yea definatly clear your cache like kyle suggested, and reboot your router. If this doesn't help then I'm not sure but I know I have this problem with chrome and when I clear my cache it tends to help allot.

Swat is amazing favorite thing in halo (; Though I prefer to CoD Currently buffing out on some Die Rise. But I do gotta say HC SnD is my favorite mode.

I figured it could work if the community became well known enough, kinda like a VIP type deal, eg. Like being invited to party on the top floor of a hotel in Vegas, or only being able to get into a specific bar in Chicago, because you know someone. But as I said, just an idea, and I honestly know it would never happen, but its food for thought (=

Thesis Statement: In this suggestion I will go over a few things that would prove to be positive for our community if the site became a private - invite ONLY site. I will touch base with what I have seen done on other sites as well as why I feel that it would help strengthen us as a community. Community: This is the key to success on any forum that you visit. We drive the forum and possess the power to encourage a great foundation and site. With out 'its' community, no forum would grow, let alone survive; so it is us who ultimately decide the fate of this site, and it is us who choose how we want things done (to a certain extent). Power: The one thing that is held dear by our sites creators and those who decide what is ultimately implemented into the site. This goes hand in hand with leadership. Leadership: This is displayed by many, but is truly owned by few. Very few people know how to lead, not because they aren't bad, but because its a tough gig, and someone has to do it. For better or for worse a Leader is only as good as his community see him, and with out a fair community a leader is often despised and or thrown over. (; It is my true believe that in order for use as a community to grow and prosper, we need to not only recruit high officials from other sites, but simply the best of the best. We need dedicated advocating people, who want this site, and this site alone to be the best 07Bot there is. I know that I don't speak for myself, when I say downtime is a bummer, and lack of scripts is even worse, this is why I have chosen to propose this idea. I have seen many sites come and go, and not only botting sites. I've seen sites that have been "Invite only (private)" sites and I have been invited to some. Most of the sites that I speak of are Torrent sites, but these forums have some of the best and strongest communities out there. The often carry the newest and best programs out there, but the catch is, you must be invited and if you haven't been you are not even allowed to view the content, let alone download it. The reason why I feel that this would be a positive step forward is because it would limit the amount of members, as well as the amount of gold farming. If we where able to recruit members who could develop top notch scripts (premium quality) we could charge lower fees on scripts, as well as help keep out rift-raft (eg. kids with 1 post who go around scamming/spamming up the forums). It not only would prevent these often annoying acts, but would also create a better and safer environment which would ultimately strengthen our community. This is my vision, take it as you will...But don't be too quick to judge, simply offer an opinion as well as a better suggestion and I will either agree and/or counter it. But essentially this is how I feel this should be handled (if it is even considered). OSBot stays open and public for a month or so, it builds its trust as well as its credibility with the RS botting community and proves to be a awesome bot. With steady updates and more traffic rolling in, the forum mods and staff then look towards my suggestion. If the site and client is proven to be better than most, have a test run with invite only. Simply see how much less spam is created as well how much better of a community we may become. Essentially the only way to both download the client and run its scripts, is if someone who was already a member, and has been a member for X amount of time (1-2months) invites you via email. If you are invited you then are limited as to how many scripts you may use at one time (lets say 1 bot for new members), those who have been here for 4-8 months are allowed to use 2 bots, and those who have been here for more than a year are allotted 3-4 bots. This would not only benefit those who are veterans, but also cut back on those who choose to gold farm. Trust me I have nothing against gold farming for your enjoyment of the game, it is those who run hundreds of bots on VPS in order to sell gold at the lowest possible rate and crash the economy who I am worried about. Any ways, there are many positives that could come from this, for instance releasing of site specific scripts (first slayer script), and any other ideas that may come to mind. Forgive me if this seems like I'm rambling...(I am its 5am)...But I will critique this tomorrow and make it easier to understand with better points/suggestions/reasoning. The best thing about a shoutbox that I've seen thus far is if/when the bot goes down, it makes it easier on some to just ask whether it is up or down. It also is a good way to get the community to bond together, whether they're talking shit to each other just for shits and giggles, or looking for someone to pk with/quest/skill, its just a fun little tool. But defiantly, there needs to be a moderator of some sort watching it, to prevent and fishy activities and to help regulate what is said.
